False Eyelash Experience
Welcome back! I wanted to quickly share my very first false eyelash extension experience! I never had this crazy urge to ever wear false lashes because I didn't want to spend the money on them, when in reality I really don't need them. Not to mention I really didn't have the money to spend on them! But I figured since we're about to pay our loans off what the heck I'll give it a shot! All of the youtube makeup people I watch wear them and seem to love them, so I wanted to try it out. I bought about the cheapest pair you can get from the brand LA Girl, I think they were $1.50 I know cheapy weapy. But my thought was I'm not going to spend $10 on the nice kind just to ruin them when this is my first time attempting to ever wear them.
I turned on a youtube tutorial from Emily Noel and just followed her step by step and WOWZA was it more tedious than I was expecting! It's like simple steps but actually doing it... like my false lashes did not look like hers LOL. I had to rip them off and start over like 2 times on each eye. I had to trim them down but I didn't want to trim them to much. They didn't stick as easily as hers in the tutorial. But I guess this is a good example as practice makes perfect. I don't know what I was expecting I knew this first time around was not going to go as smoothly or look like I wanted them to. If you're wondering I did get them on and liked them so I want these to work! But they definitely are not perfect. They're a little crooked on both ends of the eye I was having a hard time trimming them to fit my eye and the glue didn't seem to want to stick on the ends. This is why I bought the cheapy weapy ones so, when I screw up it's not a big deal haha!
I'll do an update in a few weeks let everyone know if I improve on this or not? Or if false lashes are just not for me. We have a wedding coming up in November so I wanted to try and get this figured out beforehand.
Ta ta for now!
